Race Corner ~ Andrea Woelfle

With all this wonderful new snow, we know this is going to be a great ski and race season.  And this is the year for YOU to race!  It’s challenging, exhilarating and just plain fun.  And the sound of everyone clapping when you’re presented with your medal is going to put a big ‘ole smile on your face!

Registration is quick and easy now; you can even register online if you have already signed your waiver forms and paid up. But it is more fun to get there early and mingle with other racers. Also you need to know what hill you’ll be racing on.

Try it.  You’ll get addicted fast. Call Andrea at 487-9052 for more info or email her.

SEASON RACE PASSES
Get your money in now.
The FaGowees are again subsidizing the race passes by $25.  This makes the cost of the race pass $75 + the refundable gate keeping fee of $20 for a total of $95.  Make your check payable to the FaGowee Ski Club and mail to Andrea Woelfle, 4002 Hillcrest Lane, Sacramento 95821, (916) 487-9052. If you are a first time (with the Sierra League and don’t expect to be an “upper course” racer (i.e., in the top 6 classes), you don’t have to pay the gate keeping fee your first season.)  If you plan to race more than 3 races, the race pass will save you mucho money!
You must include the registration form with your check. (Check out the Race page for form)
